Steb Centre
The Stebcentre lathe drive has razor sharp serrated teeth to grip the work piece without the need to premark the wood with the drive centre. The greatest benifit of the Stebcentre is the spring loaded point which allows the work to be gripped by just the teeth, this allows the wood to stop if a dig in occurs. when more confidence is acheived the tailstock can be wound in to give  an extremely positive grip between centres.
