The Sovereign Handle System is a handle system that gives the turner the ability to interchange a large range of gouges and other tools blades. The high quality seamless steel section of the handles assists in vibration dampening and together with the aluminium head and base gives a well balanced and comfortable feel. the softex grip provides and extremely durable and comfortable grip together with knurled sections on the head and base which give additional gripping positions. The tools and collets are held in place by two brass tipped allen screws which can be securely tightened without damage to tool shafts. An option side handle can be fitted for additional support. The base of the handle an be unscrewed to allow fitting of a counter balance weight giving a better feel when using heavy gouges and blades. An optional coupler is available to allow handles to be threaded together to make longer handles if desired of 32".38" or 44"
